Column Cutter
GC columns have to be carefully cut in order to obtain good chromatographic results. To cut a capillary column, score the desired part with either of the cutters below in one swift motion, and flick the cut column piece so that it snaps from the column. You can check for a proper cut (i.e. smooth and perpendicular to the column) with a magnifying glass
